Failed Sv35 2tb Hdd In Raid6

Can you please give us some advice regarding SV35 SATA HDD, we recently install two U3 server with LSI RAID controller PCI card and populate the server with Seagate 2TB SV35 HDD running on RAID 6 to record IP surveillance 40 IP cameras. We note that we have to many HDD failed in a short period of time. I am doubting that Seagate SV35 HDD are up to task for RAID 6, can you please let me know if my doubt is correct and what HDD would be good for HDD RAID 5-6 to record IP surveillance ?   Thank you for your advice in advance
