Cant Log Into Seagate How Do I Reset Passwords

If you have put a password onto the hard drive to restrict access then Seagate would not be able to provide a reset procedure. The only thing you can do is to reformat the drive back to a new drive which should remove the password. However all your data goes with it. Another option may solve it and that is a firmware upgrade which can be downloaded from Seagate if available. I have attached a link to their site.
