How To Set Goflex Home With Static Ip
Current Answers

Some routers don't keep the same IP address for each client on the network and upon reboot assigns IP addresses randomly. Some will assign the IP addresses on a first-come first-serve basis. In this case, it is best to set your GoFlex Home to use a static IP Address.
1) Navigate to your GoFlex Home's Administration area and click on the LAN Connection link in the NETWORKING section.
2) Select the "Specify Static IP address" option.
3) Enter an IP address that complies with your routers.
4) Enter an IP address in the "First DNS server address". Your Internet Service Provider can supply this information. Alternately, you can use public DNS servers:
128.107.241.185 (Cisco)
192.135.250.69 (Cisco)
4) Click Apply
I hope this is helpful to you!
