Where can I obtain an update to Firmware and drivers for this product? Drive keeps failing to backup.

What makes you believe you need a firmware upgrade? They would be obtainable from www.seagate.com if they are available. Before going any further check you have enough space for your backups and if the space required is close to the required amount I would suggest defragmenting the drive to give you a larger chunk of free space instead of lots of small bits all over the disk. If you are short of space then removing some old unnecessary copies may be the answer.
