What Is Causing Tread Wear On Inner Side Of Both Rear Wheels On A 1995 Saturn Sw
excessive tread wear only on inner side of both rear tires.difficult to maintain control of rear end of car while driving in snow road conditions.

That is most definetly a negative camber alignment issue. This causes the tire to angle slightly in on the vehicle in turn causing the tire to ride along the inside edge. This produces excessive wear on the inside edge similar to what you have described. It can also adversely affect the handling capibilities of you vehicle.
In most cases, outside of broken or bent suspension parts, this is easily fixed by having a routine alignment performed.
