Pictures Are Too Bright

Hello, I have had my Sanyo VPC-S770 for 4 years. It has been great. However, last week, my pictures started coming out extremely bright (like mostly white). I checked all the settings, and everything seems to be fine. The video works normally. Is there something I can do to fix it? Is there something that I am overlooking? Thanks for your help.
