Menu And No Picture On Start-up Every Time

I have a Sanyo 55 inch HDTV. About 2 months ago the menu started popping up with static and no picture every time you turn the tv on. We have to exit the menu on the remote and then go to the video 3 screen to watch tv. How do we stop this?
