Headphones
How do i use headphnes with this tv. Got it for my dad who is hard of hearing and needs headphones. Thank you for you response

Unbelievably, the User's manual for this TV makes no mention whatsoever of headphone use. However, on the back of the TV, there is a single audio jack sitting between the PC input and the Audio component jacks. I think that might work. For a diagram, go to page 16 of this manual.
Now, if that doesn't work, you can always hookup the headphones to the cable or satellite receivers or a VCR connected to the TV.

It appears that the only output for this TV is Coaxial Digital Output. I think it might be possible to use a mini-jack (headphone jack) female connector to an RCA male and hook that up to the Digital output, but that is not recommended as it results in signal loss. But now that I research it, I think that the sound coming from such a jack would not be good because it is digital and not analog. I have found a digital to analog coverter... here is the link for it... this is a cheap one, but you can get the idea of what is needed:
