Wash Stopped In Mid Cycle, And When I Went To The Check, The Display Was Dead.
I had a technician visit, he ordered a part and I believe it may be the wrong parts. Furthermore, the part he ordered is back ordered. Don't want to wait three or four weeks and then find out that he did not order the right part. It's for a WF457ARGSGR/A2 Wash machine that stopped in the middle of a cycle. It is still getting power, but the LCD display which also is a touch display/Control Panel does not light up at all. I also know that there is a control board, and I don't know if the control board will make the display not light up, and stop a cycle in the middle.. Or if it's a combination of the display panel being dead and the Control board being bad.That would mean that the control board would detect that the display panel would be dead, and then just stop the wash machine because there's no display. Does a wash machine works that way? Or does stop in the middle of a cycle indicate that the control board is bad, and if the Control Panel is bad, does it still turn off the display? Or does it need two parts?
