Bleach Not Fully Emptying

Just bought this, ran a bleach load, did not fill bleach to max level, but lots of bleach left in dispenser. Ran a 2nd bleach-able load, did not add more bleach, but still some left in dispenser. Doesn't look like the dispenser comes out for emptying. This can't be right, can it? I don't need it letting out the remaining bleach into non-bleach clothes. The manual doesn't mention this at all, or say that you need a specific setting for bleach. Help
