Phone Won't Dial Out Or Send Text

How do I fix this? I've taken out the battery, that worked for aobut an hour. I've missed several calls, and I NEED my phone, like everyone else. What can I do?

I advise you to contact your carrier to make sure there are no network problems in your area & for assistance if it's a phone problem.
