Message Re: Custom Os Application

I was in the process of setting up my voicemail on my new Samsung SCH-S720C when the screen went blank.  I thought the battery had died, which seemed weird because the phone hadn't been on that long.  When I plugges the phone into the charger the following appeared on the screen :  "WARNING A custom OS can cause critical problems in phone and installed applications.  If you want to download a custom OS press the volume up key.  Otherwise press the volume down key to cancel." I pressed the volume down key, which the message saalso said would cause the phone to restart and the screen went blank.  Then the message reappeared after a few minutes.
