Consumer laws vary from country to country. In Europe you have 2 years guarantee and could obtain a replacement or refund depending on how long you have had the device. You can always contact your credit card company if you paid by credit card. If you paid cash it may be harder to get a refund. Check the law in your country before proceeding and then contact the retailer.

In the US I believe there is only 3 months guarantee but I am not sure if that has been revised.

There has been no current United States recall as yet for any Samsung refrigerator. (See https://www.recalls.gov/.) If the fridge does not operate correctly it will nevertheless be covered for a specified period by the manufacturer's warranty. To implement the warranty use the contact information at https://www.contacthelp.com/samsung. (Or if's in the retailer's return period, you could return it to the store--call the store for details.)
