Samsung Model# Rsg257aars/xaa Has A New 'plug & Cord' Indicator Light On. Why??

The light came on in the top row of my panel and looks like a plug with some cord coming out that makes a horse shoe loop and touches the cord coming out on its way back.

From what you describe, this is the "Energy Saver" light indicator:

Energy Saver

This icon will light up when you activate the “Energy Saver” function. The Energy Saver function is automatically set to “ON” when power is supplied to the Refrigerator. If condensation occurs on the doors, turn the Energy Saver function off.
