Left Half Of Screen Streaks Like A Barcode Look
What if anything can be done - repair edit be repaired

this problem is caused by one of three possibilities. The T-Con board is the source of the right and left side signal (this board is mounted on the top centersection of the LCD panel under a metal shield), from this board is two flex connectors used to deliver these signal to the LCD display (not availalable). These connections, or the cable on the left side is the second option of failure, and the third is the LCD display. When the LCD panel (includes the LCD display, T-Con board, inverter board, florescent back light tubes, and metal case) was available it was over $900 plus labor.
I would take it apart and reseat the flex connectors to see if it fixes the problem. If not, then take it to a shop for an estimate to see if the T-Con is the problem
