Samsung Ln46a630m1fxza
colors glow then blend togethter then turns off after 3 minutes. technician came out replaced main board but that was not the problem he said something about another board that was more expensive. Do you know which board that would be or do you have any suggestions as to what I should do

First of all there is four versions of this model number, and many times the version number is on the tag on the right rear area, if it's missing then the serial number will determine which version, thus which part numbers are needed.
Secondly there are three major parts to develop the picture. The three are (in order of price too): power supply, main board and the LCD panel. So if this technician came out and installed the main, then the only part more expensive would be the LCD panel, and it will be a bill of more than $925 to replace it, plus s/h and labor. Maybe he installed the power supply, not the main, then the main boards are about $50 more than the power supply.
Lastly, you should post a picture of the problem since there is know issues with the LVDS and FRC cables, and these parts are cheap in comparison.
