Blu Ray Player Won't Play Blu Ray Discs

my Blu Ray player model bd1150 stopped playing Blu Ray discs. Even ones that I have previously virewed. How can I fix this issue?

Sounds to me like you might be bumping against HDCP. This is a very aggressive anti-piracy protocol built in to Blu-Ray and the now discontinued HD-DVD players.

I'll post a link to the WikiPedia article that will explain everything in greater depth that I can here. If this is your problem, you would need to figure out what part of that path from computer to display is not considered "secure" and correct it.

I had a similar problem using my Xbox's HD-DVD drive as an external on my laptop. After hooking my laptop up to an HDCP-supported monitor, I got a picture.
