Samsung Dlp Hls5087wx/xaa Horiz Lines Until Warms Up

when I turn on the TV, the screen starts out black then either flashes on the picture with horizontal lines or remains black with the "weak or no signal", then flips back and forth between black screen, black screen with "weak or no signal" or the picture with horiz lines for about 3 mins. After the TV is warmed up the picture becomes more stable and the horiz lines fade away until the picture remains, then is doesn't have the issue again while the TV is on. I have done research and found similar issues, but not the exact issue. Could this be the DMD board or DLP chip? Other ideas? I have a 3 min video I can send to illustrate the issue. Thanks for any advice.

I would suspect the DLP chip as this youtube video explains how to do it.

If it proves not to be the case then suspect a power supply problem which will need further investigation. One can always use freezer on a device when the TV has been on for a while. Power off and freeze the suspect chip. Then power on again and if the fault returns you have found the culprit.
