Samsung Hl-r5678w Dlp Problem
I have a Samsung HL-R5678W DLP TV. When I turn it on the tv works fine for about 5 minutes and then it turns itself off. After 2 minutes it will turn back on without sound. It will do this a couple more times and then stay off.

Take off the back cover and grab a can of compressed air and blow out 5 years worth of dust that is forming a fine layer over your components that is retaining heat. You will find after doing this your set will stay cooler and not trigger the auto shut off. Did this and my problem went away.
