there are two types of engines and color wheels used and the difference is the direction it spins up. If the colors are way off then it is likely the jumper setting on the DMD board. Look for a rectange cut-out in the metal shield around the DMD board (this is the circuit board on the optical engine the color wheel plugs into). In this hole you will see a couple pins, there is many times a jumper either connecting or not connecting these two pins. with the power disconnected, change the settings and see if this is your problem. (if the jumper is missing then get on from any old computer board or wrap a fine wire across the pins)

There are some adjustments that will fine tune a new color wheel (many times the old data is fine), but to do these you need a service manual and access to the service menu. I will not post these directions in this format. There is many things that can be damaged once in this mode.
