The error code "3C" on a Samsung DVE45T3400P/A3 dryer typically indicates a problem with the thermistor, which is a component that measures the temperature inside the dryer. This can be caused by a malfunctioning thermistor or a problem with the wiring connecting the thermistor to the control board.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Clean the thermistor: The thermistor may be dirty, which can cause it to give inaccurate temperature readings. Clean the thermistor with a soft brush or a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol.
  2. Check the wiring: Make sure the wiring connecting the thermistor to the control board is properly connected and not damaged.
  3. Check the control board: If the above steps don't resolve the issue, the control board may be malfunctioning and will need to be replaced.
  4. Try resetting the dryer: Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

If the issue persist after trying these steps, the best course of action would be to contact a professional technician for further assistance or to check for any other issues that might be causing the problem.

It's also worth mentioning that it is not recommended to attempt to fix any electrical or mechanical issues unless you have the appropriate knowledge and tools to do so, it's always best to contact a professional technician who can diagnose and repair the problem safely.
