Originally It Worked And Now It Does Not

Hello and good day...for some time I had the pleasure of using my Digimax A40 camera with great success with windows 7 and THEN all of a sudden when connecting the USB port to the camera and it indicates 'connecting' and I choose 'computer'...it no longer acknowledges and the computer makes a 'ding dong' sound without any obvious acknowledgement of the camera and then follows with a 'ding dong' sound as though ON and OFF. USB ports clearly works as I have my mouse plugged in successfully. I have tried downloading the original disk but without success, I have upgraded all my drivers etc. would love to find a solution as I do enjoy the camera taking photo's and video's.

The camera and port of your computer may work well but the USB data cable may not. Try to replace the USB data cable of your Samsung DIGIMAX-A40 camera and try connecting again. You can buy compatible USB cable for this camera online. Here are the links:
