Airplay Icon Is Flashing Red

I stream music to an Apple Air Express with an audio line out of the Express into the Samsung DA-E750. This has been working fine for about 2 years. In the last few days the AirPlay icon on the docking station is flashing red and will not play. Can somebody please help?
