Saab Aero 2,8 2008 Coolant Overflow Cap Was Changed And Radiator Checked Ok

Local shop checked coolant and found to turned blue; possible reason would be exhaust going into coolant because of head gasket failure. Does it make sense, or do it need a new thermostat
