Remove Bump Head

Cannot remove the bump head to add spool. It is a red large Knob with a center bolt. Red Knob will not turn counterclockwis

I have had several Ryobi Trimmers and found that on some the Spool retainer ( Red knob ) turns the opposite direction. The one I have now comes with a curved or straight shaft, for the curved shaft it turns counter clockwise but for the straight shaft it turns clockwise so you might try turning it the opposite direction.
