Ryobi P3240 Shuts Itself Off
When in use, my Ryobi P3240 now runs for 30 seconds or so and shuts itself off. I have cleaned the filter so that is not the problem.

Why does my shop vac keep shutting off?
There are several reasons that a device will shut off after a certain amount of time. One could be the the wall outlet that you are using may be faulty, Another may be that the device is detecting that it is getting too hot, and turning itself off to protect itself.
Why is my ryobi shop vac not working?
Clogged filter
It is possible that if your filter is clogged on your vacuum that it won't get enough air flow for the vacuum's motor work properly. If your filter is clogged you simply need to detach the nose of the vacuum and you will be able to see the filter at the end of the nose.
