Ryobi P202 Battery Is Not Charging
The Ryobi drill's battery won't charge, and the charging unit doesn't indicate that a battery is there and charging. No idea whether it's charging or not.

The presence of dirt near the metal battery contacts may be the cause of the battery's failure to charge. To correct this, take off the battery contacts, clean them with rubbing alcohol, and drain the battery entirely for safety's sake. Don't touch the contacts at the same time, please. Apply the same procedure to the charging base's contacts. There may be internal problems with the drill's battery charger. Try using a different battery on the same charger to test the charger. If the charger does not identify the battery, try a different plug as well. A new charger might be necessary if neither fix solves the problem.
