How To Adjust Color?
photos are to dark and not very detailed.

You can make print quality adjustments in your print driver. Make sure the toner economy setting is off, and raise the resolution and change the print quality from draft or fast to fine or best. (The exact settings will vary depending on which print driver you're using.)
