Where Do You Set The Password On A 4001 Ricoh

Hi, setting a password can be done through User Tools. To set a user password:
- Press the User Tools/Counter button
- Select System Settings
- Select the Administrator Tools tab
- Select Address Book Management
- Select New Program
- Under the Names tab, enter a name for this user
- Under the Auth. Info tab, create a user code/password, then scroll down to choose the permissions that code has access to
- Select OK to save the change
To set an administrator password:
- Press the User Tools/Counter button
- Select System Settings
- Select the Administrator Tools tab
- Select Program/Change Administrator (you may have to scroll down)
- Either create a new password for one of the administrators, or change an existing one
- Select OK when done to save the change
