Cancel Hold

My thermostat HC-TST213UNMS is in a permanent Hold state. How do I remove the Hold so my programs will work?

Thank you for responding. The problem is that I don't have any of these buttons: Run Schedule, Run, Cancel Permanent Hold button.

I only have Up, down, 2 blank buttons below that, System, Fan and Menu.

I have a Rheem 200 Series Universal Thermostat. It says Rudd in the Lower-right hand corner.

Go to your thermostat home screen - a Permanent Hold notification will be on display.

Press the or up/down button.

Next, press the Cancel button to disable the permanent hold.

(For some thermostat models, the options here might vary. For example, Run Schedule, Run, Cancel Permanent Hold, etc.)

How do I turn off temporary hold on my AC?

To cancel the temporary adjustment at any time, press CANCEL. Press HOLD to permanently adjust the temperature. The Hold function disables the program and allows you to adjust the thermostat manually, if necessary.
