Board Underneath Belt Was Only A Piece Of Particle/press Board

The board underneath the belt cracked and split and I fell and almost insured myself badly. Why would Reebok use particle that has no strength instead of just using a piece of plywood? The split & cracked board also ripped the belt in a few spots.

From your description its seems Reebok may be vulnerable to a lawsuit--though [as you probably realize] not from you, since you were only "almost" injured.
