First, before you try to report a faulty disc, make sure you aren't attempting to play a Blu-Ray disk in a standard DVD player. Blu-Ray disks will have a Blu-Ray logo on one side and the side that faces downward will have blue coloring instead of the usual silver coloring.

Also, if you haven't tried cleaning the DVD yet, try cleaning it with some water and cloth that is completely lint free which won't scratch the DVD.

If cleaning doesn't work and you're sure that the DVD was compatible with your DVD player when you attempted to play it, then you should contact RedBox support through either online chat or phone here: https://redbox.custhelp.com/app/ask

faulty DVDs are supposedly removed from machines after they are reported to RedBox's customer support and you will receive a free promotional code for another RedBox purchase if your RedBox DVD is found to be faulty.
