Yes, actually you can. The pre paid Wal Mart card is one of the only types of pre paid cards you can use BUT remember, you must have at least twice as much money on the card as a one night rental would be. For example, if you rent 2 movies, that will cost around $1 plus tax for each movie, each night. Also, the card must have your name printed on it.

No, you cannot use prepaid cards in Redbox machines. If you let your card go down to insufficient funds or not enough funds to pay for extra day rentals or even worse never returning the movies at all you cannot be charged something that is not available. Therefore, the Redbox loses out so prepaid cards are not accepted.
