The Files Don't Download Anymore.

My RCA voice recorder VR6320 doesn't download the files to my computer anymore. When I connect it to the computer, it says "connected". I connect the recorder while the recorder is turned on and it turns off and says "connected" and I've connected the it and try to turn it on, and it doesn't turn on but says "connected".
