Rca Stav 3970 Audio/video Receiver

Dear Sir, I have a RCA STAV 3970 Audio/Video Receiver. I am unable to get the dolby audio effect. All the connections are okay, are there any settings in the front panel to get the Dolby effect. Please let me know. Please email me your reply to [email protected] Rgds,
