My Movie Will Not Load

hi i have and RCA portable DVD player when i put a new movie in tit it says loading in the screen , nothing hapen the movie will not load what should i do plz ?

Open the dvd player and check to the left of the left hinge and to the right of the right hinge to see if you have any broken/missing pieces.
