Fm Plays Cd Won't
cd will not play. get _ _ dashes or "disc" on view window

Is the CD a factory CD or one you or someone made? Many user made CD's can and do frequently fail.
Does it spin up? Does it work with a factory CD?
If not the player has died an untimely death and will need to be replaced.
