Tv Does Not Respond To The Remote Control When Connect To The Power Source.

THE SCREEN REMAINS BLACK AND NO VIDEO NOR AUDIO IS PRESENT. THERE IS A BLUE INDICATOR LIGHT THAT COMES ON WHEN THE CORD IS PLUGGED INTO THE POWER SOURCE BUT THIS LIGHT HAS NO EFFECT WITH THE REMOTE CONTROL. CAN YOU HELP ?
