One Unit Is Not Reading Dvds

In order to ensure playback, discs must conform with DVD and CD standards. This unit may not play some recordings or files due to differences in recording formats, software used and disc types. You may also want to use a lens cleaner cd to make sure then lens isn' to dirty to read the disc.
