Trying To Hook Up My Bluray To Internert And It Cant Find An Ip Address.
I have time warner cable package deal, phone, internet, cable. Trying to hook up rca bluray to internet and it cant find IP number and says finding RCAav could not be established

There could be any number of reasons for this. The cable modem "should" assign an address to the player. BUT, it may also only allow one device to connect. In taht case you will need a router on your side of the modem. the router will grab the one address from Time Warner and then mask it and translate it to any number of addresses. Any wifi access point should be able to do this.
Try power cycling the cable modem first. That may reset the addressing but if you have a PC on the modem too it may lose it's address. It really depends on your Time Warner account.
