Pvntt1b Won't Give Sound Thru Ext. Speakers
A friend brought over his PVNTT1B PylePro phono and hooked it up to a pair of my speakers in hopes of getting it to work. He used the line out RCA jacks (A red and a white cable) going to the speakers, red cable to left and white to right. There was no output at all from the speakers. He got this as a gift, had no CD with it, just the turntable. I'm assuming there is an internal preamp or something on this device that can drive external speakers? If so it may be bad. Can you take the line out jacks and run that into an audio receiver and then to external speakers? We didn't try that, but in reading reviews I'm seeing where there are many complaints about the quality of this product. The manual is very poorly written. Looking for some suggestions.
