Blown Fuse On Pyle Receiver
The Master Volume does not work on my Pyle PT4601AIU receiver. The light on the dial won't even turn on. I believe it is a blown fuse. Any advice on where to find the fuse and how to fix the problem will be appreciated.

NOTE: Because each of these steps represents a possible solution to this issue, check the power status after completing each step.
Yes that could be a blown fuse, there is a fuse at the back of the unit to check.
- Make sure the power cord of the unit is securely connected to a working power outlet.
- If the power cord is plugged into a surge protector, disconnect the surge protector and plug the power cord directly into the wall outlet.
- Plug the unit into a different power outlet to make sure there is not a problem with the current power outlet.
- If the unit has a voltage switch on the rear of the unit, make sure the switch is set to the correct voltage for your area. NOTE: Some unit have a 110 to 220 voltage switch on the rear of the unit where the default setting is 220V. Verify that this switch is set to 110V.
- Press and hold the POWER button.
- While pressing the POWER button, unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
- Release the POWER button.
- Plug the power cord back into the power outlet and try powering the system back on.
- Make sure that nothing is blocking the ventilation holes on the rear of the unit and that it is placed in a location with adequate ventilation. NOTE: If the unit has been in use for more than three hours with the volume set at a high level, unplug the power cord for one to two hours to reset any output generators that may be installed inside the unit. This will avoid overheating and will prevent any further damage to the unit.
- If applicable to your model, reset the unit
- If the issue is still unresolved, service may be required.
