Bbatteries

The 395e Elliptical keeps draining the battery dry, if I remove and reinstall same battery I get a screen that quickly fades

The manual states that the console automatically powers off after a time of inactivity. The only way to extend the life of the batteries is to use top of the line alkaline D cell batteries. It may be more economical to purchase the optional AC adapter by calling the # in the manual.
