2005 Pontiac Montana Sv6 Radio Issues

Over the past 6 months, the radio has occasionally 'skipped', whether in radio/cd/dvd.  Yesterday, the radio turned itself off and will not turn back on.  I have disconnected the battery and tried again, to no avail. Any ideas?
