Pontiac 98' The Key Doesnt Fit Right, Wont Move When Turned. Whats Wrong?

Everytime I go to start my car, I have problems with the key. It either takes a while to get it turned. Or it wont turn at all. I was told the key doesnt fit. How do I find a right size? I looked it up but the one in the manual is what I have. But the other ones I have looked up dont look like it. Where can I find another one. But not ordered online? Or is there something wrong with my car. By the way, it is a Pontiac year 98. 3600 v6. Can you help?
