The Air Control Knob On My 1994 Pontiac Firebird Will Not Switch To Feet Or Face

It just stays on like a defrost type of air flow just coming out of the top dash vent and the two small window vents. I Need to know what is causing the problem from switching to face or feet or face and feet. Please help
