To perform a reset on the Pioneer VSX-933 AV receiver, you can follow these steps:

Turn off the receiver using the power button on the front panel or remote control.

While holding down the "BAND" button on the front panel, press and hold the "STANDBY/ON" button for about 2 seconds until "RESET" appears on the display.

Release both buttons, and then press the "STANDBY/ON" button again to confirm the reset.

The receiver will reset to its factory default settings, and then turn off.

Turn the receiver back on and complete the initial setup process.

Note: Resetting the receiver will erase all custom settings and configurations that you have set up, so be sure to back up any important settings before performing the reset. If you encounter any issues or difficulties, it's recommended to refer to the user manual or contact Pioneer support for further assistance.
