Power Loss To Unit

I have the the Pioneer DEH-6300UB in my motorcycle while riding I lose power to the unit and its not related to going over bumps, it has gone out on a smooth road, like I have a loose connection or a rubbed wire someplace. There is no time period before it comes back on sometimes quick sometimes it takes a minute or two. I have checked wiring as much as I can wiggling wire but I cannot get it to act up with the bike parked, Is the radio going bad possible internal problems?
