Device Not Supported

Is there an update I can download to be able to watch movies from my iPod through the Phillips hts3440's USB, onto my televison set?

The issue here is that the iPod is seen by the HTS3440 as a USB hard drive.  The web site states that large capacity USB disks are not supported due to "HDD is not supported as the large storage capacity makes navigation very difficult."

According to this the only way you can view a video from your iPod would be to transfer it to a smaller USB memory stick and then use that in the HTS3440.  Seems like a lot of trouble to me.

"Device not supported" pretty much says it all. No means no. You just have to accept it.
