Needle Will Not Pick Up Bobbin Thread

I had a thread jam, which I released from turning the wheel in the back. Rethreaded and put in new needle, and npow it won"t pick up the bobbin thread to start to sew?

Why is my needle not catching my bobbin?

First, make sure the bobbin-winding spindle (located on top of your machine) has been pushed back to the left for sewing. If it is not in the correct position, the needle will not go down and pick-up your bobbin thread.
